Principle
of the Super Gasflo Pump
The Super Gasflo Pump is a special type of Rotary
positive displacement pump known as Sliding Vane Pump. The Sliding Vane Pump has
the displacement advantages plus ability to compensate for wear and operate with
minimum noise level. The Sliding Vane Pump consists of one Rotar turning in a
liner (called 'Cam') machined eccentrically in relation to the rotar thereby displacing
the liquid trapped between the rotar cam and the vanes. The Sliding Vane Pump
is made with Vanes produced from special non-metallic material with extremely
low coefficient of friction and the vanes are self adjusting for wear which gives
the pump long life. When the Vanes get worn out they can be easily replaced.
Exclusive
Features of Super Gasflo Pump
The pumping of volatile liquids is one of
the most difficult of all pumping jobs and pumping from tank wagon or tank truck
makes it even more difficult, so more attention is to be paid to the design and
manufacture of the Pump and to its installation and operations compared to any
other pumping operation.
In addition to being specially suited for handling
volatile liquids, Super Gasflo Vane Pump has a number of features which help to
make its operation and maintenance easier.
The Super Gasflo Vane Pump is manufactured
in 4 models. The models being Sgv-38, Sgv-50, Sgv-75 & Sgv-100.
·
Capacity range from 60 to 800 LPM.
· Hydraulically actuated vanes
·
Minimum of moving parts.
· Flanged inlet and outlet connections.
·
Handles most bulk plant applications economically and efficiently.
·
"Floating" rotar requires no adjustment or shims
· Four basic
sizes
· Easy installation
· Strong and Safe
· Long
pump life and simple replacements of parts

· Super Gasflo pumps
can also be mounted on tank trucks and driven through PTO units.
Note
:- The Pump in the illustration has been shown coupled with reduction
gear. Pulley driven pump is also available.

SALIENT
FEATURES
Vanes: All parts including the ten hydraulically
actuated self adjusting non-metallic vanes are easily accessible for inspection
or replacement without disturbing the piping.
Relief
Valve: Built-in for internal safety, relief valve is set for 10 kg/cm2 differential
pressure and is adjustable upto 14kg/cm2.
Bearings:
Super Gasflo Pumps have heavy duty Ball Bearings for longer bearing life. These
bearings areinterchangeable.
Rotor: The rotor is
provided with large diameter shaft of alloy steel which gives greater strength
& stability. No holes in the shafts to weaken it.
Side
Plates: Specially made precision side plates add years to pump life and save
money on repairs.
Mating Flanges: Threaded mating
flanges of steel save money by eliminating pipe unions and make installation easier.
Steel slip-on welding flanges are also available.
Mechanical
Seals: Super Gasflo Pumps are provided with mechanical seals to provide years
of trouble free service. Easy & inexpensive to replace yet will out-last any
other mechanical seal now available.
For efficient use of Super Gasflo Pumps,
proper strainers, sight-flow check valves or flow indicators and pipe bye-pass
valves are also available.
The Supergasflo Range
